Introduction

Here is a collection of stories, pictures, and information about some of the other islands to which Ritsuko and I have traveled. While it is rather small at this time, I do hope to add a few more eventually if I ever get back to writing stories instead of building and re-writing websites.

Other Islands

Isla Holbox is an island off the northern coast of Quintana Roo that is touted by some as an island that is like Isla Mujeres 30 years ago. While I maintain that this assessment is excruciatingly overly simplistic and terribly misleading, the island is, by comparison, very rustic and unspoiled by development, as was Isla Mujeres decades ago. Of course, what is expressed herein is my opinion based upon my memories of a trip in 2003, so please take it for what it is worth, and I hope that you enjoy what you read and see.

Ya mon!!! Jamaica is a beautiful island that we have visited several times. We didn't take many pictures while we were there, in fact on several trips we didn't even take a camera. A few of the images in the slideshow on this page are from Jamaica. Since I wanted to share some thoughts on travel there, I have included a couple of stories from my memories of a trip to Negril in the fall of 2001.

Read, look, and hopefully enjoy what I have put in here so far.
